The Record

A practice you keep in your head is a practice you negotiate with. These nine sheets are a rudder for a man who does not have one yet — printed, on the counter, filled in by hand, until he has built something of his own.

Paper, until you have something better than memory.

The Record

What they are

Paper beats
memory.

Every man who has ever quit something quit it in his head first, quietly, with no record of the decision. A sheet on the counter takes that option away. You either filled it in or you didn’t, and both of you can see which. Run them long enough and one of two things happens: you keep them, or you find the version that fits your life better and you use that instead. Either one is the job done.

Print them, or fill them on a tablet. Nine sheets, eleven pages, plus a bonus Decision Sheet. No app, no login, no streak to protect.

A filled-in Daily Log sheet, day 12 of 30, handwritten — the four areas recorded for a single day
Day 12. One sheet, one day, filled in by hand. This is what you are buying — not an app, not a dashboard.

The
Sheets

  • Practice builder — name your four anchors before you need them
  • Daily log — one page a day, the four areas, one line each
  • Weekly plan — what you are actually promising this week
  • The Friday reckoning — the honest audit, once a week
  • The thirty days — two pages for the wall: the grid you mark as you go, and the Creed
  • Body movement grid — every joint you own, in order
  • Body hard-day options — the bad-day version, decided while you are calm
  • Scripture study page — not a devotional about the Bible. The Bible.
  • Scripture focus register — the fifteen passages, in the order you meet them
  • Bonus: the Decision Sheet

Thirty daily logs per cycle. Print what you burn through.

Every sheet comes in an ink-saver version, because thirty Daily Logs shouldn’t cost you a cartridge. Print those. The full-colour set is for a print shop, or a desk copy that matches the book.

Straight with you

These nine sheets are included in Volume One. You are not being sold a piece of something you will have to buy again. If you already know you want the whole system, wait and get it there — you will pay once and these come with it.

Buy them here for one of two reasons. Either you want only the sheets, and five dollars is a smaller decision than thirty. Or you already own it, you have run a cycle, and you need refills — thirty daily logs go faster than a man expects.

That is the whole pitch. No bonus, no bundle, no timer.

What to do this week

Print the practice builder and the daily log. Nothing else. Name your four anchors — ten on the body, ten to plan the day, ten in the quiet, ten on provision — and write them down before you close the file. An anchor you have not named is one you will negotiate with at six in the morning.

Then run them today. Not Monday. Today, with whatever is left of it.

The nine sheets

A place to start, on paper. Print them tonight and run them tomorrow morning.

The Record — $5. Nine sheets, eleven pages, plus the Decision Sheet. Included in Volume One.
