You get still daily
10 minutes of stillness — prayer, reading, or reflection, with nothing else running. The inner man needs feeding too.

Front · Spirit
Willpower runs out. Spirit builds the Disciple — faith, stillness, and gratitude that hold when nothing else is certain. The front is the daily work. The pillar is the man it builds.
Know Whose you are, and answer to Him.
The DiscipleWhat this pillar is
The Disciple front is the spirit — the inner man. Faith, stillness, gratitude, a life that answers to more than your own appetites. This is the front the world tells you to skip, and it’s the one that holds the other three together.
Call it faith, call it the ground under your feet — a man who belongs to God doesn’t blow over in the storm. He has a reason to get up that outlasts his mood. Willpower runs out. Everything you build on it comes down with it.
This front is quiet work: presence, prayer or reflection, gratitude, and the humility to be led at all.
The four fronts of the Disciple
A disciple answers to something above his own appetites, every day, when nobody is watching. That is not a thing you do only on your knees. Here’s the work on all four.

The standards
Not a scholar and not a performer — a man under instruction, which is what the word means and why it stings to read. Standards to hold and raise — not a pass/fail gate. The floor is ten minutes on this front, every day; the climb and the standard are what it grows into.
10 minutes of stillness — prayer, reading, or reflection, with nothing else running. The inner man needs feeding too.
Work toward: a daily practice you keep, gratitude practiced, a church or a few men who know you, presence with the people in front of you.
Steady when nothing else is certain, present with your family, generous, and answerable to God. The quiet strength the other pillars stand on.
It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.
Galatians 2:20 (ESV)You don’t need all four dialed in to start. Start on the Spirit front and put your first rep where it counts. Volume One carries the full standard and the thirty days for every pillar.
